What a great little fine, on our travels to visit family in Devon this is the perfect stop for the kids lunch or dinner. I love the old school decor, it is a real hark back to little chef of the past, only better ! It feels like an old American diner when you walk in. Staff are very efficient and friendly, we were quickly seated, kids were sorted with their menus and colouring, there was books and games on offer to keep them busy whilst waiting for food, great all round! Kids menu was a good selection of the usual fare, ours had the chicken strips, but the lovely touch was the free houmous pot with veggies and breadsticks (pictured), nice to see a healthier snack offered for free no less. I went for the champions hash which was lovely and the wife had the burger, lovely smash style burgers, freshly made. All in all what more can you ask for from a roadside diner - thanks all, we will be back!

* dog friendly * A throwback to American roadside diners , like Little Chef. Super clean, love the retro decor especially the avocado toilets. Great food and coffee. Plenty of parking. Cheap fuel next door. And dog friendly. Wish there were more of these going north.

Stopped here for breakfast on the way down to our next destination and all of us were extremely impressed by the quality of service, food and atmosphere. Lovey decor, clean and very welcoming. We didn’t have to wait long for either food or drinks, steady flow of customers coming in throughout our stop. Highly recommend anyone to stop here!

Lovely spot for brunch! The food was really good quality, the coffee was delicious and the service was speedy! But what did it for us were the AMAZING staff - honestly made such a difference, you are all so lovely and accommodating! Amazing member of staff in lovely sunflower dungarees so understanding of our nervous dog and popping us out of the way in a booth and asking before sitting another dog close by - Thankyou so much. Truly appreciated. X

Cute 70s diner experience, perfect for a stop off on a long drive. Interior and atmosphere was really fun, service was friendly. Bit of a wait for food, but when it arrived it was delicious. Reasonable prices too.

We had a really lovely server. They could definitely have done with another person on shift though. Food was fantastic and with the Wednesday after school offer, it was really good value. The 70s style decor is fab. Really worth the stopoff.

Absolutely loved the '50s style Anglo/American diner! What a brave, refreshing attitude. So well designed, open warming ambience. Food is well priced and of really good quality, not a hint of vacuum packed food in sight! Staff are well informed regarding allergies and food intolerance.
